Uniformed Groups
A number of uniformed groups meet in the borough. In some cases they are fully integrated into a church, mosque or synagogue’s provision for young people in Barnet. However, this is not always the case. Many offer groups for those of any or no faith – and may use a church, mosque or synagogue building, whilst retaining their independence.
A faith awareness programme is planned for scout leaders to develop their understanding of faith issues, and so reach out and include a wider range of young people. This could potentially be offered to other uniformed groups. Contact Dadia at BCVYS to find out more about this.
