Faith based youth work in Barnet

This website has been developed by the Barnet Council for Voluntary Youth Services (or BCVYS for short). It covers faith based youth work across the Borough and is organised by postcode so that you can find out what is going on in your local area.

You will find details of a variety of activities provided for young people aged 11 to 18 years living in Barnet. Some are run specifically for followers of a faith – and others are open to those of any or no faith.

Whether you are a young Muslim person looking for an interesting activity to join out of school, a church leader thinking of setting up a new youth group – a Jewish youth leader interested in some multi-faith work in your local area – a young person with no faith, but curious about how others live their lives - then we hope that you find the information you need in this directory.

BCVYS hopes that youth groups will come together across different faiths and work together to achieve a greater understanding of one another. There is some interfaith work already underway in the borough – and details can be found in the Links section of this website. If you would like to get involved then we have provided some contacts to follow up.

Please let us know if you set up a new group – or if any details change – and we will be happy to update the information. Contact us.
